Mark (no relation to Sam Thompson) brought his extensive real estate and business experience to RPM in mid-2011.
As Director of Operations, Mark’s role is a versatile one that includes optimizing RPM’s operations through well-implemented technologies and systematic processes.
As Director of Investing Services, Mark oversees all of our Investor Services, Realty Services, and Remodeling Services.
A Cincinnati native, Mark is a known real estate investing expert who’s been investing in real estate since 1999. In 2003, he began working for a the largest real estate investment services company in the U.S., providing wholesale properties and hard money lending to real estate investors. Within a year, he was managing the Cincinnati office, and soon after expanded into Northern Kentucky and Columbus, Ohio. Under his direction from 2004-2008, Mark and the company:
- acquired and sold over 1,000 investment properties to both local and out-of-state investors
- managed over $30 million in private (hard money) lending at a 93% success rate
- managed hundreds of rehab projects using affordable, quality vendors
- owned a title company in partnership with one of Ohio’s largest and most respected title companies
In 2008, Mark started his own small real estate investing services and consulting company focused on less volume and better client service. From 2008 to 2011, Mark helped his clients earn an excellent ROI on real estate related investments through traditional and unique investments opportunities.
Over the years, he has put together multiple Private Placement Memorandums (PPM) and is very experienced with self directed IRA investing (SDIRA).
